The inception of Spinnergy Records emerged from a deep-seated desire to reignite the magic of music discovery – a sentiment shared by Nick, a music enthusiast with a penchant for vinyl records and immersive experiences. As a frequent visitor to local record stores, Nick found solace in the tactile process of flipping through albums, admiring cover art, and uncovering hidden gems within the grooves of vinyl records.
The University of Minnesota's Graphic Design class of 2024, consisting of 60 students, showcased their individual thesis projects at the Last Call exhibit in Rapson Hall. The graduating class was entirely responsible for organizing the exhibit, including its brand identity, social media presence, fundraising, and website development. As part of the team, Nick played a pivotal role in developing and coding the class website, aligning it with the Last Call brand identity.
